This is a miniature volume of the 'Poetical Works of Longfellow', with a silver metal cover, & printed in London circa 1925.

The embossed silver metal cover shows an eagle ? sitting atop a harp, with scrolls & foliage.

The book is bound in black leather & the spine has a gold tooled 'leaf' design & reads 'LONGFELLOW - LONDON'. The edges are gilt / red.

The book has marbled endpapers, with the front free endpaper having an ink dedication dated 1925.

The binding is tight with no loose pages.

Condition is fantastic for age : the half title page has a very small tear to the corner & the red edging has bled slightly to the corner & margins on the first 60 pages (there are 1104 pages in total !).

The book measures approx 5.5cm x 4.5cm x 2cm, & has 1104 pages (exc titles & contents).

All in all, a scarce miniature book in fantastic condition, that not only contains HW Longfellow's works, but also his translations.
