Royal Albert Devonshire Lace: Handled Twin Relish Dish

This a Royal Albert twin compartment (or 2 part) relish dish, in the now discontinued 'Devonshire Lace' pattern, & dating to around the late 1930's.

The dish is in the form of a leaf, with two relish 'bowls', & a curving handle.

The dish is fully back stamped with the 1935 - 45 Royal Albert Bone China mark, & the Reg No. 808163.

Condition is Good for it's age. There are no chips or cracks, but the Gilt edge decoration is worn, particularly so on the handle.

Please note that due to the shape of the dish, the transfer, in places, does not reach to the edge - there is no wear to the transfer & this is usual in this particular shape/pattern combination.

The dish measures approx 7 3/8" long & 6 3/4" wide (approx 18.5cm x 17cm, at extreme points). Unpacked weight is approx 245 g.
