Vintage Caverswall Bone china Hand Painted 8" Vase

This is a tall, hand painted bone china vase, made by Caverswall & fully backstamped, & probably dating to the late 1970's / 1980's.

The vase is tubular in form with a very slightly flared base & a flared or trumpet neck.

The White bone china vase has a gilded rim, a band of gilding around the base, and has been decorated with beautifully hand painted branches of Orange blossom ?.

Although the painted branches are smooth, the actual orange blossoms have been applied using a very thick paint, giving the decoration a lovely, textured feel & appearance.

The base of the vase carries the 'CAVERSWALL ENGLAND' backstamp alongside the hand written 'Hand Painted - Fine Bone china'.

Condition is Excellent, with no chips, cracks, restoration, or wear to the gilding or pattern. There is the expected light wear to the unglazed base rim.

The vase measures approx 7 3/4" tall (approx 19.7cm).
