This is a small, vintage bust of Harry S Truman, the 33rd President of the United States (1945 - 53), & most probably dating to around the mid 1940's. The bust is made of solid Brass & was probably made as a souvenir to commemorate his succession to Office, or to commemorate the end of World War II?. The bust is approx 2 1/2" tall (approx 6.4cm) & is very heavy for it's size at around 8.4oz (238g). Please Note: we have also listed a similar vintage bust of Hideki Tojo, the Japanese Prime Minister during the same era.
