This is a late Victorian / Edwardian glass perfume bottle, housed in a 2-piece treen case, & possibly by the German perfumery Dralle. The case is made from turned & polished wood, & is in the form of a stylized 'lighthouse'. The screw on lid has a little, turned knop to the top & a circular depression to the front with the remnants of a Red wax seal. The small glass bottle is hexagonal in form, and the glass stopper has a hexagonal top, a frosted neck, & an unusually long dauber. Overall condition is very good, the treen case has an age related split to the screw on lid (which does not affect the strength of the case in any way). The glass bottle & stopper are fine & complete with no breakages, only a small scratch on the top of the lid. The case measures approx 3" (approx 7.6cm) high, & the bottle approx 2 3/8" (approx 5.9cm) high. Although there are no makers marks (with the exception of the partial wax seal), the case is similar to the ones produced by the Dralle perfumery of Hamburg, around the beginning of the 20th century.
