This is a signed watercolour by the British listed artist Mary B Barnard (1870 - 1946).

The painting is a Scottish Highland loch / landscape, probably around the Oban area, where Barnard lived from 1910. The painting is signed to the lower right.

Barnard was widely exhibited including the Royal Academy, Royal Scottish Academy, Glasgow Institute, Royal Institute of British Artists, & others. Auction records of her work are available in most Art databases.

The painting is mounted & framed under glass.

Condition of the painting is Fine, with no damage. The (later) mount has a few light marks & the (later) frame is chipped to one corner.

The visible image is approx 8 3/8" x 5 1/2" (approx 21.3 x 13.8cm), whilst the frame measures approx 16 7/8" x 14 1/4" (approx 42.8 x 36.7cm).
