This is a small Victorian watercolour of a coastal landscape, almost certainly British (Scottish), & monogrammed 'W.M' & dated (18)98.

The painting shows a coastal landscape with a ruined castle sitting on a small outcrop.

The painting is framed & mounted under glass, & is signed 'W.M.98.' to the lower left.

Condition of the painting is Fine, with no damage. The frame is good, although it's missing a small piece of moulding to the upper left hand corner.

The visible image is approx 8 3/8" x 5 1/2" (approx 20.7 x 14cm), whilst the frame is approx 13 3/4" x 11" (approx 35 x 28cm).
