This is a vintage Jaeger lecoultre manual wind 8 day travel clock with a 24 hour alarm, in it's original fitted leather travel case, & probably dating to around the 1960's. The clock is circular in form & sits on a triangular foot. The clock is finished in gilt, with a brushed effect finish to the sides, a gilt face, applied markers at 12, 3. 6. & 9 o'clock, & a 24 hour alarm window at 12 o'clock. There is also a day & night indicator window in the centre of the hands (please see pic 11). The face is marked 'JAEGER', '8', & 'SWISS MADE', & is identical to the Jaeger Recital clock, although it is not marked as such. The base is impressed with the number '101'. The fitted leather case opens at the front via a brass clip, & has a velvet lined interior (with 4 pegs at the rear to hold the clock in position), & is has the gold blocked Jaeger lecoultre logo to the front. The clock & alarm are working & keeping time, although as with any vintage clock, it would possibly benefit from a service. Condition is good. The gilt is lightly rubbed in places & the leather case is very good. The clock stands approx 2" or 5.2cm high.
