This is a watercolour loch / landscape by the listed Scottish artist W.Wood Craig, entitled Loch Lomond & with an auction label verso, & probably dating to around the 1920's.

W.Wood Craig was an Edinburgh based artist, & was known to exhibit between 1907 & 1913 (3 times at the Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts).

The watercolour, a view overlooking Loch Lomond, is framed & mounted under glass.

The watercolour is signed 'W Craig' to the lower right, with the title hand written verso (the frame is later, so the title was almost certainly written by an owner who recognised the image, & is not necessarily the intended or original title, if there was one).

Condition of the painting id fine, with a few spots of very light foxing. The later frame is fairly good.

The visible image measures approx 14 1/4" x 10" (approx 36.1cm x 25.4cm), whilst the frame is approx 21 1/4" x 18 1/2" (approx 54cm x 47cm).
