This is a vintage card of three Sterling Silver Christmas pudding charms, unused & still attached to the card with string, & dating to the 1920's / early 1930's.

The top of the card has 'XMAS' & 'CHARMS' intersected by a pudding , with a sprig of holly & two smiling girls / ladies portraits to either side. Underneath this is the (presumably) brand name 'THE EXQUISITE' & the bottom states 'STERLING SILVER, MADE IN ENGLAND, REGISTERED'.

The charms are all named & consist of 'GOOD LUCK' - a Horseshoe (which has an attached suspension ring), 'BACHELOR' - a Button, & 'MARRIAGE' - a Ring.

The charms are very small (the button is approx 1.5cm in diameter), & are of embossed (rather than solid) construction, & thus are quite fragile. I would be amazed if these particular charms would be allowed in this day & age, due to 'Health and Safety' regulations.

The card & charms are in fantastic, original condition : the card is discoloured in places to the front & the charms are tarnished.
